Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress best known for the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. Her career began as an actress in the 1980s. Her fame was boosted by the film Tezaab starring veteran actor Anil Kooor. Then she appeared in the film Dil where she was on screen alongside Aamir Khan. Early on, as a teenager in Mumbai's middle-class, she began to learn how to dance. At the age of 16, she began acting and was a victim for a few years as the majority of her early films failed. Then she found her way to success and became one of the top actors in the Indian film business. The actress took a hiatus from her career after her wedding before returning to the industry of entertainment. Recently, she had in a crucial character in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women across India. Dixit has received 15 Filmfare Awards nominations, of which, eight were awarded. Padma Shri - the fourth most highly regarded civilian award in India awarded to Dixit. Her work in the field of social service is popular.
